Adrienne Barry, MD, PhD

Dr. Adrienne Barry is a board-certified dermatologist with expertise in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Her clinical and scientific background drives her practice of dermatology to provide high quality, personalized care to patients of all ages.

EDUCATION AND MEDICAL TRAINING

Dr. Barry attended Emory University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a double major in chemistry and music. She earned her MD and PhD from the University of Illinois. Her doctoral research has applications in both skin health and disease, particularly in wound healing. 

She completed her dermatology residency training at UCSF which is regarded as one of the top dermatology training programs in the world.

Dr. Barry is passionate about helping her patients look and feel their best. Dr. Barry’s expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of skin, hair, and nail conditions, such as: skin cancers, atypical moles, rashes (including eczema, psoriasis, contact dermatitis), acne, folliculitis, cysts, warts, hair loss (alopecia), nail fungal infections, keloid scars, and non-healing wounds.  She also has extensive knowledge of gynecological skin conditions.  

Dr. Barry also has advanced cosmetic training and specializes in non-invasive aesthetic treatments, including Botox, dermal fillers, and laser treatments for skin rejuvenation. She is known for her thoroughness, attention to detail, and ability to create customized treatment plans that meet each patient’s unique needs and goals.

Outside of the office, Dr. Barry enjoys playing the violin with community ensembles, as well as playing an occasional round of golf.
